We have already reported that white Galaxy Note has gone live at TELUS and is about to make its debut at Rogers within the next few days as well. Bell will also launch the white-flavored Galaxy Note.

However, to make things more clear, Samsung Canada has officially announced the upcoming availability of the white Galaxy Note in the country.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Note in glossy ceramic white is expected to arrive at carriers and select retailers across Canada beginning today.

Launched on the market back in October, Samsung Galaxy Note has proven to be incredibly popular among Android enthusiasts, as the South Korean company confirmed it sold over 5 million units.

The smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but Samsung stated that the Galaxy Note would receive an Ice Cream Sandwich update in Q2 2012.

Moreover, the handset maker promised it would deliver a 'Premium Suite' upgrade that would enhance and add to the features that were already available onto the Galaxy Note and its S Pen stylus.

This enhanced update will be available in the late-spring timeframe, and will offer new features and applications exclusive to Galaxy Note and its innovative S Pen.

GALAXY Note continues to delight customers with its incredible versatility and unique user experience and we are excited to introduce a new colour of the popular Samsung Galaxy Note to Canadians,” said Paul Brannen, vice president, mobile communications at Samsung Canada.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Designed to capture, share and create content like never before, the Galaxy Note combines the power of a tablet with the convenience of a smartphone to bring an all-in-one device to the Canadian marketplace,” concluded Brannen.
