This is just an idea for now, but we suspect it will become more in short order

We could very well say that we saved the best for last today, although we'll leave it to you to decide if Google's newest pet project is really more interesting than the AMD and Intel APU/CPU updates.

What we have here is a video in which Google reveals Project Glass, its idea for augmented reality glasses, that could enhance our daily lives significantly.

A group is already working on the technology, but Google says it wants input from everyone else, in order to make it the best it can be.

“We think technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t.

“A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input.”

We'll not bother you with written speeches that have no chance of equaling the video itself. Go on and watch it. At any rate, the idea looks like it has all it needs to go far, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.
