The smartphone is only available for purchase in Italy

Although Samsung promised back in May that a 64GB version of Galaxy S III would be available for purchase at some point this year, the South Korean company has yet to make it official.

Well, it looks like the 64GB Galaxy S III will make it to shelves after all, as ePrice reports that the smartphone is now available for purchase in Italy.

Unfortunately, Samsung has no intentions to launch the 64GB Galaxy S III globally, instead it will choose when and where the smartphone will go on sale.

This why an Italian retailer announced the Samsung Galaxy S III 64GB is now available for purchase for 800 EUR (1040 USD) outright, which is a bit steep in comparison with the 16GB and 32GB models.

Even though the retailer mentions that this is a promotional offer, we doubt the smartphone’s price will go any higher than this. Check it out here.
