One of the latest customization options that Microsoft made available for download for the owners of Windows 8 machines is the Watch_Dogs theme, which is based on the Ubisoft game with the same title.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the game is meant to explore the impact of technology within our society, with the action set in Chicago, where a network of computers keeps people connected to everything.

The new Watch_Dogs theme for Windows 8 is set to bring some of the game’s atmosphere to the desktop of your computers, thanks to 11 high-resolution images depicting scenes from the title.

“Delve into the dystopian world of Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug on a mission of revenge, in this free Windows theme for Watch_Dogs, the new gaming experience from Ubisoft,” Microsoft notes.

Users should also know that the new theme is compatible with all devices running Windows 8, Windows RT and Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions.
